Q: I have lost my original reports and films of my MRI, CT, X-rays. How can i get duplicate films and report?
A: It is possible to retrieve old data in shape of films and images. Duplicate reports can be printed on request anytime.

 

Q: I have lost my registration receipt. How can i get my reports?
A: No worry at all. Our software sends automated sms alert on your given mobile number. You will receive your registration number, PIN & Password for online reporting service. If you missed that sms then give your telephone number to our reporting desk, they will provide you with your reports.

 

Q: What should I do to prepare for Ultrasound Pelvis?
A: Liquid intake should be increased before the study & patient should come with full bladder.

 

Q: What should I do to prepare for Ultrasound Abdomen?
A: The patient should come with fasting or at least 5 hours empty stomach. Diabetic, weak, sick or small in age patients can take light snacks. In case of gall bladder investigation, strict fasting should be observed & dairy products should be avoided, even tea.

 

Q: What should I do to prepare for MRI?
A: Do come with previous record. Patient should have no metal object in dress as well as in the body like (metal rod in leg & arms etc) . Come without under garments. Patient should remove any metal object before the test. (Like belt, Visa Card).

 

Q: How much time is required for Dexa Scan?
A: Dexa Scan at Alnoor requires 20-25 minutes.

 

Q: What should I do to prepare for Dexa Scan?
A: You should not be taking any calcium or multivitamin supplements a day before your Dexa Scan.

 

Q: What is the best time to have lipid profile test?
A: Best time for Lipid profile is with 10 to 12 hours medical fasting.

 

Q: What is medical fasting?
A: In medical fasting patient can take sips of plain water only.

 

Q: When is the best time for hysterosalpingography?

A: Ideally it is performed between 8th and 14th day of menstrual cycle but depending upon clinical requirement it can be performed at any time during the menstrual cycle after the bleeding has finished.

 

Q: What is the requirement for cardiac CT?

A: The patient should not smoke and avoid chocolate, tea and coffee for 24 hours. He / she should not have eaten anything for 04 hours. The required heart rate is below 70 beats per minute for a successful CT which can be easily managed with medication at Alnoor Diagnostic Centre.
