Immunochemistry
Immunochemistry is done via our digitalized system at ALNOOR Diagnostic Centre using bidirectional interfacing to reduce chances of errors in results. Once a patient is registered he is allotted a unique registration number via barcode and this unique identity is used to take samples, process and provide results with a low turnaround time. Following these SOPs we are able to avoid errors of misplacement, sample mixing or wrong test processing.
ALNOOR Diagnostic Centre has the capacity to test all types of Infectious Diseases, Fertility/Hormones, Cardiac Markers, Thyroid Function, Tumor Markers, Bone Related Disease Markers, Autoimmune disorder and Maternal Care etc.
Thyroid Function Test is done to detect hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) and hypothyroidism (under active thyroid. This test is done by using blood sample. It is done to by measuring the level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and Thyroxin (T4).
Cardiac Markers help in early diagnosis of ischemic heart disease. These markers include, Troponin I, and Troponin T etc. to evaluate chances of Angina/ Myocardial infarction.
We conduct different fertility hormone process to detect for both male and female reproductive system assessment. A higher value of FSH means low fertility or lower chances of conception. Other important fertility hormones are LH, ESTRADIOL and AMH.
Tumor Markers are very important to diagnose benign VS malignant. At ALNOOR we test CA125, Carcino Embryonic Antigen (CEA), Alpha Feto Protein, Prostate-specific Antigen (PSA), and Prostate Acid Phosphate (PAP), to assess tumor markers.
